Rapper T-Pain released his new covers album On Top Of The Covers last week, which featured his own rendition of the Black Sabbath classic "War Pigs." And to anyone about to criticize the cover as a cash grab or whatever, you really need to check it out. T-Pain makes "War Pigs" into a grooving psychedelic soul-heavy rock track that's well worth your time.
I mean, it's good enough that Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler posted about it on Instagram and called it "great." Not exactly a lengthy endorsement of the track, but still – acknowledgement from one of the dudes who wrote the original. Solid!
