Metallica goes sludge on their latest single "If Darkness Had A Son" and it kicks a very serious amount of ass. The single is also a bit of a shock considering the old-school speed of the previous two singles, but here we are – Metallica goes long and slow, and it works. Plus that phased-out bass sound toward the end is a nice touch.
