Mondays suck. Death metal doesn't. So let's start the week off by checking out a recently-released death metal album. And if you need more, check out all the previous editions of Death Metal Monday here.
As bands like 200 Stab Wounds and Undeath continue their rise to the top of death metal, Wretched Stench is a name that should start to crop up as well. Hailing from Oakland, CA, Wretched Stench brings that straight-forward, shovel-your-head-off style of death metal that's sure to annihilate you. Seriously, just hit play and get one minute into the first song "Penanggalan" and tell me your neck isn't already starting to feel strained.
Weaving A Web Of Viscera was recorded and mixed by bassist Avinash and drummer Adam, and mastered by by Justin Weis (Hammers of Misfortune, Ulthar, Pallbearer, etc.) at Trakworx. The gross artwork for the record was done by Rahma Murliawanti and logo by Ian Axe.
