KING CRIMSON's Robert Fripp & His Wife Covered METALLICA's "Enter Sandman"

King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp and his wife Toyah Wilcox have been making some serious waves with their cover series, for both musical and non-musical reasons. Now Wilcox has finally spoken up on why they've been doing the covers, and the reason is really sweet!

Wilcox told NME that she started the series to occupy Fripp, who was getting really bummed out about not being able to tour.

“Here I am in this house with this 74-year-old husband who I really don’t want to live without,” she said. “He was withdrawing, so I thought: ‘I’m going to teach him to dance.’ And it became a challenge.”

“I do the lighting, the filming, the conceptual side and the persuading Robert to take part."

So there you have it. Both Wilcox and Fripp are plenty entertained, we're all entertained, and everyone gets to stave off the craziness a little bit longer as we all wait for a vaccine!
