Legendary film composer John Carpenter will release his third non-soundtrack album Lost Themes III: Alive After Death on February 5. Carpenter is now streaming the single "Alive After Death" alongside what might be the coolest, and creepiest music video I've seen in quite a while.
Carpenter said the new album was composed in layers alongside Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies
"We begin with a theme, a bass line, a pad, something that sounds good and will lead us to the next layer. We then just keep adding on from there. We understand each other's strengths and weaknesses, how to communicate without words, and the process is easier now than it was in the beginning. We’ve matured."
The video was given artwork by boneface and animated by Liam Brazier.
