Metallica come through with some help again, through their "All Within My Hands" foundation. They have announced four grants, totalling $350,000 to be distributed to organizations assisting with relief efforts during our current COVID-19 pandemic.
The first organization is Feeding America, which recently launched a COVID-19 Response Fund. Metallica have pledged $100,000 to help with food banking efforts.
Another $100,000 will go to Direct Relief, who are providing "more than 40 tons of personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers on the front lines."
Metallica will also donate $100,000 to the Live Nation Crew Nation initiative to help people working at these venues make some cash during these trying times.
Finally, Metallica is pledging an additional $50,000 to the Bartender Emergency Assistance Program (BEAP) "to assist qualified bartenders, bar backs, and bar servers in need of financial assistance."
