Rigor Mortis is finally coming out with a new album! I know some of you are like, "who the fuck is Rigor Mortis", so I'm about to tell you. The thrash band basically kickstarted the extreme music scene in Dallas-Fort Worth in the 80s, ending up with two releases on Capital Records and Metal Blade, respectively, and on the soundtrack to The Decline of the Western Civilization Part 2 (The Metal Years).
Rigor Mortis' OG lineup, featuring Ministry guitarist Mike Scaccia and former GWAR bassist Casey Orr, just completed the new untitled album at Planet 13 Studios in El Paso, TX. It's the first album from the original lineup since the band's debut. I've been watching all the videos that vocalist Bruce Corbitt has been posting to his Facebook page, and it sounds like this album is going to rule!
