Pentagram's troubles with frontman Bobby Liebling all started coming to light earlier this year when the band announced it would play shows without him. The reasons given were Liebling's "personal actions" and nothing more. Then this month, Liebling was arrested for first-degree assault of a vulnerable family member and was sentenced to 18 months in prison after pleading guilty. That family member was believed to be Bobby's 87 year old mother.
Liebling is due out of jail soon, and the band announced that he is "remorseful and rehabilitated," and will be rejoining the band on their March dates.
Guitarist Victor Griffin is sitting this one out, and has been replaced by Matt Goldsborough. Bassist Greg Turley, drummer Pete Campbell will also be on the tour. Opening the gigs will be Brother Dege and Dirty Streets.
