Sinsaenum, whose lineup includes drummer Joey Jordison (ex-Slipknot, Vimic), bassist-turned-guitarist Frederic Leclercq (Dragonforce) and Stephane Buriez (Loudblast), vocalists Attila Csihar (Mayhem, Sunn O)))) and Sean Zatorsky (ex-Chimaira, ex-Daath), and bassist Heimoth (Seth), will release their new album Repulsion For Humanity on August 10. The band's debut single from the album "Final Resolve" is streaming now and it's stuff front to back with kickass old school death metal riffs. Even if you weren't into the band's debut album, I'm willing to bet you'll dig this one a lot more.
Sinsaenum also adds that Csihar contributed some vocals to the album but is mostly absent due to scheduling conflicts. They say he's still in the band though! Here's what Leclercq had to say about this song specifically.
It is still death metal, it’s undeniable. But we found it interesting to mix it with other elements that we all like. This is only one aspect of the album and what Sinsaenum is about – "Final Resolve" is just an obvious first single due to its catchiness. Because yes, it is possible to play death metal and be catchy [laughs].
