Has it really been one year already since the passing of Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell? I remember waking up the morning he died with a few texts from family members with screenshots of the news asking "don't you like this band?" It still feels like it wasn't that long ago, but death seems to have that ability to completely warp your perception of time.
As a celebration of Cornell's life and his work, Cornell's family will be hosting a public memorial on the anniversary of his death, May 18. The memorial will be held at Cornell's grave at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, CA. More information is available below via Vicky Cornell.
