Oni is a band that labels itself progressive metal and actually upholds the promise. The band is gearing up to release its debut album and has chosen us to premiere its new song "Eternal Recurrence" and the accompanying video. Their debut album, Ironshore is out this fall.
The group sits on the fence in terms of where it seems to draw inspiration from, but if I had to take a stab at it, I'd say bands like In Search Of Sun, Karnivool, Painted In Exile, and maybe even a touch of symphonic death metal.
