Babymetal is forging their comeback!
They just announced on Twitter that they will be releasing a new album this year, with a cryptic graphic teaser promising a new era:

They also announced two nights at the Yokahama Arena on June 28th and 29th for a show called "Babymetal Awakens – The Sun Also Rises" followed by two shows at Portmesse Nagoya on July 6th and 7th titled "Babymetal Arises – Beyond the Moon – Legend – M-."
It is safe the assume that we should hear new music or get an idea of the new concept by then.
The last time we heard from the band was in October, when Yuimetal announced she was leaving the group to pursue a solo career. The group also released a new song late last year called "Starlight."
