No event in the world sees more rockers turn into businessmen than the music instrument convention known as NAMM, and nothing turns a headbanger into a full fledged professional quicker than the classic ponytail.
When I first attended NAMM in 2010, I was floored by the amount of ponytails walking around. As someone who has had long hair for most of his life but never thought to wrap it up, I just found it hilarious. Whenever someone mentioned NAMM over the next few years I'd joke about how it's really a ponytail convention that just happened to debut instruments.
So while I worked at NAMM, providing tons of video for our sister site Gear Gods this past weekend I thought it would be fun to snap pony shots on my phone to see what I'd get.
