Metallica's upcoming album Hardwired To Self Destruct is twelve tracks long and inexplicably two discs, despite its running time under 80 minutes. The band has released two music videos thus far for the singles "Hardwired" and "Moth Into Flame," and now drummer Lars Ulrich tells The Straits Times that we should expect ten more.
"Now that YouTube is the world's biggest television station, we figured we may as well knock a video out for every song … The practicality of shooting 12 music videos is kind of crazy, especially when you're trying to promote your record, and you're all over the place, and trying to make sure it doesn't leak. It's crazy but, at the same time, fun."
Is that insane? Absolutely, but at the same time twelve videos is likely to drive drive for Metallica's new album. Hardwired To Self Destruct is out on November 18, and you can check out the most recent single, titled "Atlas, Rise!" right here!
