Trivium frontman Matt Heafy and his wife are expecting twins, and things just got real, a little earlier than expected. So Heafy did what any rational father-to-be did and flew the hell home to be with his wife during this momentous occasion. Unfortunately, there's still over a week worth of tour dates left for Trivium with Avatar and Light The Torch.
Heafy just posted a video update apologizing to fans for his departure and noted the vocalists of those bands, Light The Torch‘s Howard Jones & Avatar's Johannes Eckerström To Fill Inare going to step up and help fill in. Additionally, Youtuber Jared Dines will fill in for some tracks. Here's Matt's statement:

These are the dates affected, although it seems like it's a much more unique show now for fans:
10/25 Edmonton, AB – The Ranch Roadhouse
10/26 Calgary, AB – The Palace Theater
10/28 Vancouver, BC – Commodore Ballroom
10/29 Seattle, WA – Showbox SODO
10/30 Portland, OR – Crystal Ballroom
10/31 Spokane, WA – Knitting Factory
11/02 Anaheim, CA – House of Blues
11/03 Berkeley, CA – UC Theatre
Trivium performed "In Waves" with Dines and Howard Jones earlier this week, and it sounded great. The tour will be awesome.
