In the 80s, metal feuds started on the Sunset Strip, today on Facebook. Five Finger Death Punch frontman Ivan Moody posted this on his page earlier today:
So if the image isn't loading, Moody posted Black Veil Brides' video adding his own commentary of "Yuck" and later commenting "Time for people to be "REAL". This sux."
Sure, some people might say, oh this is the pot calling the kettle black, but let me tell you a story… a story about the Revolver Golden Gods.
Black Veil Brides won song of the year, for the third year in a row, and got booed off the stage. Their response was to cut a wrestling-style heel promo on the crowd:
I am in no way a Black Veil Brides fan, but I gained a bit of respect for the band after their acceptance speech, the way I respected Ric Flair for shitting on crowds for 30 years as NWA champion. After the award show, at the after party, I went up to BVB frontman Andy whateverhisnameis and I congratulated him on the heel turn. I told him I might not be a fan of the band's music, but I gained a new respect for him. In turn, Andy half-thanked me then acted like a dick to me and eventually turned away from me. Alright, bruh, whatever.
Meanwhile, I met a few members of Five Finger Death Punch backstage and they were beyond nice and cordial, very humble. This was after they just performed with Rob fucking Halford.
So, maybe Ivan Moody is on to something here, but the true question is… who's side are you on?
