This sounds like it could be fun. Ronnie James Dio's widow, Wendy Dio is compiling a tribute album for her late husband with some rock A-listers. Dave Grohl, Rob Halford, Alice Cooper, Lemmy, Sebastian Bach, Ian Gilligan and Glenn Hughes have comitted to be a part of the compilation which should see the light of day by the end of the year. So far, Grohl has comitted to covering the Sabbath classic "The Mob Rules" and Halford will be doing the Rainbow song "Long Live Rock 'N' Roll." Everybody else has yet to pick a track to cover. I think this is an awesome way to raise money for the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund. Dio tragically died of stomach cancer in 2010. Metal Injection was on hand at his memorial to capture the event.
