This is What New LIMP BIZKIT Sounds Like in 2014

Yes, new Limp Bizkit – in 2014.

It seems like 2014 is the year of the throwback to 1999. Linkin Park have a new album, so does Godsmack. Korn are co-headlining the biggest metal festival of the summer and oh, look, Limp Bizkit released a song this weekend:

This is the second single the band have released recently, the first being "Ready to Go" but still no release date for their next album, Stampede of the Disco Elephants.

The only way to actually purchase this new single is via cassette or via free download on their site.

I will say this actually sounds like an evolution of Limp Bizkit's sound, in that it doesn't just like sound like "Nookie 2014," but with that said it still is Limp Bizkit. Honestly, I'm surprised it's not catchier. There is no memorable hook to get stuck in my head, just an above average riff with some simplistic lyrics. Also, what is with the Axl Rose worship about 3:20 into the song? But that's my opinion on the track, what's yours?

In related news, I still can't believe Fred and Wes agreed to be interviewed by the Livecast last year:
