Sworn In will be releasing The Death Card come August 20 on Razor and Tie. The Death Card is a pretty solid slab of hardcore-tinged metal with vocals that remind me a little bit of Corey Taylor circa-early-Slipknot, but over heavier guitars.
I've read a lot of people comparing the vocals to the likes of Emmure and The Acacia Strain, which I guess I can see a little bit, but there's a lot going on here once you get past what the Internet hate machine is feeding you about these guys. There's a lot of interesting riffs, good rhythm section action going on, and again; I like the vocalists voice. But hey, form your own opinion and let me know what you think in the comments section!
