EVERY TIME I DIE's Andy Williams Wins His National Wrestling Debut on ALL ELITE WRESTLING

Andy Williams is undefeated in AEW!

every time i die andy williams wins all elite wrestling dynamite

Last night was big night for Every Time I Die guitarist Andy Williams. After years of paying his dues on the independent wrestling scene, Andy had his biggest match yet,  and his national television wrestling debut on All Elite Wrestling's weekly TNT show, Dynamite.

Williams, known in AEW as The Butcher, teamed up with his partner The Blade, also known as Pepper Parks/Braxton Sutter, and accompanied by the brains of the operation, The Bunny, aka Allie. Their debut match was against Cody Rhodes and a partner of their choosing, and they picked the relatively unknown and unproved Q.T. Marshall, as a way to hinder Cody.

Prior to the match starting, we learned that the team of BBB (The Butcher, The Blade, and The Bunny) was actually hired by Cody's arch nemesis, MJF, to take out Cody so MJF doesn't have to. This all lead to BBB making their entrance with a killer entrance theme.

Williams' ring presence was that of a grizzled veteran. I mean look at this:

Williams was definitely "protected" in the match and made to look strong. He had some great power moves, and he and The Blade work seamlessly together, dishing out punishment:

Everybody shined in the match, including Q.T. Marshall, who offered the most unique space flying tiger drop you've ever seen:

Kudos to Marshall for being shocked himself that he was even able to pull it off. For reference, here is the move done by the acrobatic Ricochet.

The Butcher and the Blade got Cody to the outside and it was enough time for them to double team Q.T. and get their first win on AEW:

It doesn't look like Cody's beef with BBB is done yet, as after the match, Darby Allin came out and said he would be Cody's partner in a match against BBB if Cody agreed to give Darby a rematch from their draw a few weeks back on Dynamite.

Here are some more highlights AEW uploaded:

The best part of the match was after it was over, and legendary commentator Jim Ross noted that Andy reminds him of wrestling legend Ole Anderson. I can't imagine a bigger compliment for Andy, who is celebrating his birthday today.

Ultimately, we want to send a huge congrats to Andy, and everybody who worked the match, because it came out awesome. We look forward to seeing Andy on more episodes of Dynamite, which airs every Wednesday in the U.S. at 8pm eastern time.
