Nita Strauss left Alice Cooper's band back in July, but has since made it clear they're all on good terms and that she may very well come back someday. And while she's not officially back in any capacity, Strauss rejoined Cooper on October 4 at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, CO for an encore performance of "School's Out." Strauss played alongside newly-rejoined Cooper guitarist Kane Roberts, and you can check footage of the mini-reunion above!
"Hurricane meets Hurri-Kane!" said Strauss on Instagram. "Such a treat getting to not only see the amazing [Alice Cooper] show from the audience for the first time, but hop up and join the boys for the encore last night. They all absolutely crushed it and I was beaming the whole time singing along to every song ☺️ I loved finally hearing Freedom in the set!! So great!
"Thank you all for the warm welcome, it made my day. Also thank you [Alice Cooper guitarist Tommy Henriksen] for letting me use your [Jeff Loomis] signature Kelly since I don’t have any guitars in Alice world right now!! If I’m not playing mine, Jeff’s is a great substitute. Photos by [photographer Kyler Clark]- make sure and check out his gallery show in Nashville October 14!!"
