The Word Alive's new album, Real is out now, and debuted number #30 on the Billboard Top 200 – surely, they're doing something right. Bassist Daniel Shapiro has put together a bass play-through of their single "Play The Victim" just so you could see exactly show he rocks the low end, and we have the exclusive clip. Dan had this to say about the playthrough:
"I'm trying to make the bass not just be a bass. It's more diverse than people give it credit. It's percussive and melodic. I'm just trying to add flavor to the songwriting sandwich."
