It's a big day for Rammstein. They just released their new music video for "Ausländer" (German for foreigner) and kicked off their touring for this album cycle. The music video, which sees lots of topless indigenous people, was directed by Jörn Heitmann.
Rammstein have kicked off the touring cycle for their self-titled new release last night (Monday, May 27th) at at Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
They played 23 songs total and nine of them are off their new album, including two versions of the lead single, “Deutschland”, one of which was a remix by guitarist Richard Kruspe. Among the other new tracks performed were “Ausländer”, “Diamant”, “Puppe”, “Radio”, and “Sex.”
They played favorites like "Du Hast," "Mein Teil, "Sonne" and closed with "Ich Will."
They play the same venue tonight and then wrap the European leg on August 23rd in Vienna. Hopefully, we'll get some U.S. dates soon.
