NORMA JEAN Rejoined By JOSH SCOGIN At Furnace Fest 2024

Specifically for the set closer "Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste".

If you were at Furnace Fest over the weekend, you caught a little metalcore history as former Norma Jean vocalist Josh Scogin rejoined the band for their closing song "Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste". Scogin originally fronted Norma Jean between 1997 and 2002 (also back when they were still called Luti-Kriss), and eventually went on to front The Chariot and his current band '68 (who also played Furnace Fest).

"Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste" is off Norma Jean's 2002 album Bless The Martyr And Kiss The Child, the only full-length Norma Jean album Scogin sang on. The band's full set at Furnace Fest 2024 was:

  1. "Orphan Twin"
  2. "[Mind Over Mind]"
  3. "The End of All Things Will Be Televised"
  4. "Wrongdoers"
  5. "Spearmint Revolt"
  6. "If You Got It at Five, You Got It at Fifty"
  7. "Landslide Defeater"
  8. "Falling From the Sky: Day Seven"
  9. "Reaction"
  10. "1,000,000 Watts"
  11. "Memphis Will Be Laid to Waste" (with Josh Scogin)
