Nearly 4,000 Australians Break Air Guitar Record With AC/DC's "Highway To Hell"

A fitting band for them.

In 2011, a crowd of 2,377 gathered at the San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino in Highland, CA to set the world record for the most people playing air guitar in one place. The group did "Mr. Crowley" by Ozzy Osbourne and snagged the record from a group of 1,883 who originally set it in 2009.

Now a massive gathering of 3,722 people at the Perth Fest in Australia have set the bar even higher. The group played "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC and were led by air guitar champion Jinja Assassin (or Alex Roberts if you're into real names).

Check out the video of the group above and keep an eye out for a new AC/DC album soon (we think).
