MOONSPELL Drops New Video For "Hermitage" Live In Portugal

From their forthcoming DVD/Blu-ray

Moonspell's concert film, From Down Below – Live 80 Meters Deep, won't be released until September 30, but you can check out the new video for a live take of "Hermitage" today to hold you over. You can check the video out above.

From Down Below – Live 80 Meters Deep will be available via Napalm Records. The album and Blu-ray/DVD combo release finds Moonspell performing their 2021 album Hermitage in its entirety, within the caves of Grutas de Mira de Aire, a natural cave system located about one hour to north of the capital city of Lisbon. Skillfully directed by Guilherme Henrique, the underground performance is robust with mood and an aesthetic prime for the rapture that is Moonspell, who complete the compelling scene.

Regrettably, Moonspell had to cancel their upcoming tour with Swallow The Sun and Witherfall due to "unsolvable logistic and transportation problems."

In an post to their social media, the band wrote "Dear North- American fans, We have no other option than to cancel our American Fullmoon tour with Swallow The Sun and Witherfall that would start August 25th in NY and end September 19th in Boston. Unsolvable logistic and transportation problems are the cause behind this cancellation.

"Together with our agency, Moonspell and STS management tried all the options available but we have no other solution than cancelling. We thank you for your understanding and apologise for all the trouble caused. We are already working on a North-American tour for 2023. Will keep you posted. Please contact your ticket provider for reimbursements.

"See you under better circumstances, under the spell! Note: Moonspell will play @candelabrummetalfest , Léon, Mexico as a stand alone show on September 3rd."
