Leaving – the band that consists of seasoned sonic architects from Noothgrush, Amber Asylum, Graves At Sea, Lycus, and Funerary – is now streaming their slow-burning new single "Hollow Ache". The song comes alongside an equally disorienting video directed by Frank Huang and Christopher Edward Garcia, because listen – if you're gonna get lost in the soniscapes, you might as well get really fucking lost.
"This track introduces the listeners to Leaving's evolving narrative, where haunting vocals and atmospheric textures converge," wrote Leaving of the track. "With each note, the band invites you into the liminal space they've crafted—a space between worlds, emotions, and musical genres. Anticipate a profound sonic journey as Leaving sets the stage for their debut album, promising an immersive exploration of the thresholds of emotive heavy music."
Liminal is available for pre-order here via Protagonist Music and here on Bandcamp via Transylvanian Recordings.
