IN FLAMES Revisits Their '90s Swedish Folk Vibes With "Foregone Pt. 2"

Inspired by like "Moonshield" and "Gyroscope."

In Flames is now four singles deep into their upcoming record Foregone and I think it's safe to say this album is going to be fantastic. The band is streaming their latest single "Foregone Pt. 2," which slows things down compared to their previous efforts, but still retains that epic melodic death metal quality they've honed to a fine point.

"While revisiting songs in our catalog like 'Moonshield' and 'Gyroscope,' I felt we hadn’t done that style for awhile," said vocalist Anders Fridén. "We wanted honor those types of songs which incorporates the Swedish folk vibe, but bring it to the current era of In Flames. Musically and lyrically it is a continuation of Foregone."

Foregone is out February 10. Pre-orders are available here. You can also catch In Flames at one of the below dates with At The GatesImminence, and Orbit Culture.
