Michigan deathcore trio Exanimate are gearing up to release their debut album Redacted later this year via Legend Recordings.
In anticipation, the slam newcomers have released a seriously sick video for the song "DEAD//GODS" to tide us over.
Mixed and mastered by Cory Judd at Colossal Tracks Studio, "DEAD//GODS" creates a brick wall of sound with extremely technical deathcore and faint tinges of blackened goodness and melody.
A press release states that the song "addresses heavy emotions and realities" that the band has endured as a result of "betrayal while also attacking cancel culture and pettiness found in today's society."
So, there you have it. Deathcore with a meaning.
