Pantera returned this year as vocalist Phil Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown alongside Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante and Black Label Society guitarist Zakk Wylde. Pantera kicked off their tribute shows in South America with plans to tour the rest of the world in 2023 and 2024.
In the meantime, Benante has shared a compilation of clips from the band's South American shows, which you can check out above.
As for the future of Pantera, it could potentially involve new material. Benante said in an interview with Brave Words prior to the band's first live appearances that new material isn't out of the question, but the band would need to see how everything goes first.
"Oh man… who knows?" he said. "Creatively, if we are just flowing and getting going, and things are starting to be really good, musically speaking, you never know what could happen. I've got tons of riffs.
"But we're putting the cart before the horse. I like the positivity there, but I don't know how people would react to that either at this point. I think first, let's get out there and establish that we can play. I'm always open to the future."
