Cemetery Skyline have shared the video for "The Coldest Heart (Live Semi Acoustic 2024)", which was captured in an intimate setting short before the release of their debut album Nordic Gothic in October.
"We went all the way to New York City to celebrate the release of our album, Nordic Gothic, and besides all the partying at Duff's, we played a special secret show and did it the old school 90's MTV Unplugged trio way. So here's one result of that night, 'The Coldest Heart', in its most gentle and stripped-down acoustic way. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed this special moment," says guitarist Markus Vanhala.
In case you are still unaware, Cemetery Skyline is comprised of members of European metal royalty: Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity, The Halo Effect, Grand Cadaver) on vocals, Markus Vanhala (Insomnium, Omnium Gatherum, I Am The Night Horde) on guitars, Santeri Kallio (Amorphis) on keys, Victor Brandt (Dimmu Borgir, Witchery, ex-Entombed, ex-Satyricon) on bass and Vesa Ranta (Sentenced, The Abbey) behind the drumkit.
The band has been nominated for the Finnish Emma 2025 in the categories "Best Rock" and "Best Artist (public vote)", and Nordic Gothic made it to our reader's poll of best albums of 2024.
