BODYSNATCHER Recruits HATEBREED's JAMEY JASTA For New Single "Murder8"

A song dedicated to those who lost their lives to fentanyl.

Bodysnatcher is now streaming their new single "Muder8" featuring the legendary Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed. Sure the song is heavy musically, but its message and the reason for it being vocalized is equally heavy

"'Murder8' is a street name for Fentanyl," said Bodysnatcher drummer Chris Whited. "I lost my older brother in 2022 to fentanyl and then I lost my younger sister just one year later in 2023 to fentanyl as well. Opioids have been prescribed at alarming rates since the early 2000’s and have affected millions of families across the world, especially the United States. If you have lost someone due to overdose this song goes out to you."

Bodysnatcher will release an early vinyl-only release of their upcoming EP Vile Conduct on Record Store Day in participating locations. In the meantime, Bodysnatcher and Spite will hit the road together for an extensive US tour this May and June. All dates will be opened by Thrown and Knosis, with Psycho-Frame and Cell joining in at the beginning and end of the trek. Tickets are available here.
