After four years of waiting, Ulcerate has returned to us all with what might be their best track to date. Ulcerate is now streaming "Stare into Death and Be Still" off their new album of the same name due out April 24. According to the press release, Stare into Death and Be Still explores facing death and knowing your place in the grand scheme of things.
Thematically, the album explores the concept of "death reverence" – drawing on recent personal experience to confront the truism that death and tragedy aren't always sudden or violent, that people are often passive observers trapped "in the silent horror of observing death calmly and cleanly".
