Arkansas Senator Calls For Venue Boycott After EYEHATEGOD Poster Depicts Him Eating A Baby
Senator Jason Rapert, a Republican, has been representing Arkansas' district 35 in their state senate since 2011, and dude is pissed right now. Rapert, who runs on an anti-choice platform, is pisssssseeeedd because a local venue is promoting an upcoming Eyehategod show with a poorly photoshopped photo of Rapert eating a baby.
Rapert was actually covered on Metal Injection previously, when he tried to get a ten commandments monument erected and faced protests from The Satanic Temple. The humorless senator posted this message to Facebook, calling out the venue for sharing "such a disrespectful image that shows the dehumanization of babies lives" and warns that the venue even welcomed the Satanic Temple.
Friends, I rarely share with you the hateful posts and pictures that extreme liberals make about me to torment my stand for better moral values. But this time I want you to see what they have done. They use my image on an event without my permission and they depict me “biting a baby” in my mouth. A wicked and evil depiction on an event entitled “Eyehategod”. I call on Vinos in Little Rock to cancel this event and apologize for such a disrespectful image that shows the dehumanization of babies lives. It is disrespectful of all who value babies lives and people of faith. They also clearly welcome the Satanic Temple in another post I am sharing. I urge you NOT to frequent Vinos and stand against their hateful rhetoric.
While most of the comments seem to mock the Senator, there are a few showing support.
But some people thanked the Senator for exposing them to the wonders of Eyehategod:
Congratulations to Eyehategod for all the free publicity. See all their dates here.
