There are songs and there are SONGS. I wanted to document some of the tracks that have really stood out to me over the past few years. A lot of these bands are groups I have a personal or professional connection with. Many though are just bands I discovered via sites like Metal Injection. All are rockers – though they transition from more conventional stoner rock and doom to death metal and hardcore by the end.
Some are poppy, some are just weird, but this is what a decade of music journalism and 7 years of working in the music biz has led me to dig. I’m curious to know if you do too!
