For the one year anniversary edition of Slay At Home, I announce my most ambitious show to date, which also happens to be the finale. As they say, all good things must come to an end.

I started Slay At Home early in the pandemic as my personal mission to create an entertainment fundraiser that would aid the music industry and charities I'm passionate about while providing a fun new experience for metal fans around the globe. As the world prepares for a post-quarantine come back, with more live shows announced each week, I have made the decision to send off Slay At Home as it began a year ago, with a mammoth variety show filled with lots of surprises, for a great set of causes.

The fully stacked event will air this Friday and Saturday (June 18 & 19th) beginning at 3PM EST both days. The free virtual event will fundraise in support of 4 great charity organizations; Musicares, The Iggy Fund, The Cancer Research Institute, and National Alliance On Mental Illness.

The event will also include very engaging discussion panels to stream before the music portion of the show, more details on this side program will be released closer to the show.

How the role of women has changed in the metal atmosphere, both on stage and behind the scenes. The struggles they’ve had getting where they are, and what the future might look like.

“The Future Of Touring In Post-Pandemic” with special guests: Tim Borror (Sound Talent Group), Dan Rozenblum (33 and West), Daniel DeFonce (Continental Touring). Hosted by Frank Godla (Metal Injection).
A roundtable discussion on how the pandemic has affected this side of the industry, what really occurred behind the scenes during quarantine, as well as the challenge and expectation of moving forward with touring in a post-pandemic era.

These three panels are of course in addition to two days of great music and art, in support of four great charities you can read about right here. Be sure to tune in on June 18th & 19th for all the action on the Metal Injection YouTube page!
