Spineshank is either quietly celebrating 25 years of their 2000 album The Height of Callousness or they're leading up to a bigger announcement.
It all started on January 24 when Spineshank posted a link to their new Instagram page, stating: "Hey guys in honor of The Height of Callousness turning 25 this year, we will be celebrating by posting some pics, stories and footage from that time. follow our official Instagram to stay updated! Thank you all for the 25 years of love for this record."
Then oddly in the comments, Spineshank wrote "we actually might….." with no follow up. Demand for a Spineshank reunion seems pretty high given the response to their posts (even just that comment). The PRP also mentions that vocalist Jonny Santos posted a video outlining some of the stuff he's got going on, ending by saying that anyone who wants to work with him should book him now as he "might not be able to do that pretty soon."
So who knows! Maybe we'll actually get some Spineshank reunion shows in 2025. It happened in 2008, it could happen again? Especially considering the rise of nü-metal in the modern era. And if they do happen, they'll be the first Spineshank shows to happen since 2012.
