Slipknot released their new album We Are Not Your Kind on August 9, and now it looks like something else is coming. Slipknot has posted a series of Instagram videos all with clips of seemingly unreleased music.

One is titled "Death Because Of Death," the fourth track on We Are Not Your Kind, but the other eight are brand new titles.

"Death Because Of Death"
"Allure Of Indignation"
"Fertilization Evacuation"
"Matured Ovule"
"Dreams Of Crops"
"The Esoteric Oneself Or Someone"
"The New Individual"
"Fertilization Deployment"

Slipknot also links to another Instagram account titled thehueisblack01. That account is nine identical images all without sound.

My guess is that this is going to be Look Outside Your Window, the unreleased 2008 Slipknot album. Look Outside Your Window was recorded by percussionist Shawn Crahan, vocalist Corey Taylor, guitarist Jim Root, and DJ Sid Wilson during the All Hope Is Gone sessions and was never released.

In an interview last year, Crahan said the album would see the light of day sometime during the We Are Not Your Kind album cycle.

“We have a whole other album that four of us wrote when we did All Hope Is Gone. We have 11 songs that we’re gonna release sometime in this album cycle. But it’s never been about just getting it out. It needs to be out when it’s right and by coming out during this album cycle people will even understand more what we’re doing on this album and what first led to it.”

Taylor elaborated on the news during an interview with Eddie Trunk last year:

"We've been trying to find a way to release those songs for God knows how long. They were actually something that we were recording… We had two different studios going on. And one group of guys was recording what ended up becoming Look Outside Your Window, and then the bulk of the band was making All Hope Is Gone.

"The stuff from Look Outside Your Window is really, really — I mean, there's no real way to describe it. It's experimental, but it's super vibey, super melodic. It's really good. It's hard to explain. There's something about those songs. They're very solemn, very energetic, very artistic. For people who are used to a certain way of Slipknot sounding, this doesn't sound anything like that. It's much more of a rock vibe. Honestly, it's much more of a Radiohead vibe, to be honest."
