PESTILENCE To Release Hadeon With A Completely Revamped Lineup

New Pestilence is coming for the first time in four years.

New Pestilence is coming for the first time in four years.

Pestilence was a band from 1986 to 1994, again from 2008 to 2014, and from 2016 to present day. Pestilence will be releasing a new album called Hadeon at some point this year, which will be the band's first since 2013's Obsideo.

The only constant between Obsideo and Hadeon is founding vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Patrick Mameli. Hadeon features a completely revamped lineup, consisting of guitarist Santiago Dobles (Aghora, ex-Cynic), bassist Alan Goldstein (Aghora), and drummer Septimiu Hărşan (Code Red, ex-Autokrator).

Considering Pestilence has always been a revolving door of members, as long as Mameli is in the group, it's still Pestilence. Though some purists will say that the first two albums with Martin Van Drunen (Asphyx, ex-Hail Of Bullets) on vocals was the "real" Pestilence, that's up for debate.

Now we await the release date and singles!
