OLD MAN GLOOM To Hit The Studio Next Week

It'll be both old man-ish and gloomy.

It'll be both old man-ish and gloomy.

Old Man Gloom vowed to continue on after the passing of bassist Caleb Scofield, and have since done so with tribute shows benefitting Scofield's family and also exclusive merchandise to do the very same. The band has now announced they'll be hitting the studio next week for a new album, and drummer Santos Montano promises tons of weird pictures throughout the process.

In one week we commence the new gloom recordings. So there will be all kinds of social media excitement then. That’s something, right? Ya’ll have something exciting to look forward to! I guarantee there will be:

Scofield's Cave In bandmate Stephen Brodsky will be filling in on bass for the record. Old Man is currently guitarists and vocalists Aaron Turner (Sumac, ex-Isis) and Nate Newton (Doomriders, Converge), drummer Santos Montano, and bassist Stephen Brodsky (Cave In, Mutoid Man).
