Slipknot and Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor will release not one, but two singles from his debut solo album this Friday. According to Spotify, one song is called "CMFT Must Be Stopped" and will feature hip-hop artists Tech N9ne and Kid Bookie.

Taylor previously worked with Tech N9ne on a song called "Wither" in 2015, and with Kid Bookie on a song called "Stuck in My Ways" in 2019.

Blabbermouth reports the album is tentaitvely due out this September. All we know otherwise is that Taylor's backing band is guitarists Christian Martucci (Stone Sour) and Zach Throne, bassist Jason Christopher (Prong), and drummer Dustin Schoenhofer (Walls of Jericho).

In a previous interview, Taylor noted the album will feature about 13 songs, even though the band's plan is to record 25. He noted the album is already 98% to 99% done.

“…We did thirteen originals. We recorded seven covers, and then we did six acoustic versions of the originals that we put together. Or [maybe] it’s five. I can never keep that straight. Maybe it’s six [covers] and six [acoustic versions] — I can’t remember. All I know is that we did an insane amount of work in two and a half weeks — something that we thought was gonna take two months — and we destroyed it. We were doing a song a day. And we got done, and we were, like, ‘Eh, okay. What are we gonna do now?’ Everything has come together so quickly that it’s crazy.”
