Some tragic news to pass along. Lambgoat is reporting that a concert at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, IL on Friday night featuring Chevelle, The Used and Marmozets was cut short due to a medical emergency. The show ended mid-way through Chevelle's set, with the band going on social media and stating:

"To our fans at the Chicago show: We are very sorry we had to end the show early. Due to a serious injury in the crowd the fire marshal was forced to cancel the rest of the show. We hope that whoever was injured makes a swift recovery."

Lambgoat reports the emergency in question was due to 24-year-old Kyle Kirchhoff falling from the catwalk of the venue. When Kyle landed, he fell onto two pieces of metal protruding from the floor, which impaled his chest. Kyle was taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital where he was reported as dead.

We will share any more details as we have them. Our thougths are with Kyle's family and friends at this difficult time.
