ELDER Shares Energetic, Traditionally Heavy New Song "Embers"

This band can simply do no wrong, even with their long tracks.

After their experimental 2019 EP The Gold & Silver Sessions, Elder is back with a brand new full-length album. Elder will release Omens on April 24 and is streaming the new song "Embers" right now. The song is also the debut of new guitarist and keyboardist Michael Risberg, as well as drummer Georg Edert.

“'Embers' is doubtless one of the most energetic and upbeat songs Elder has ever made, and really became the favorite to play while rehearsing to record Omens,” shares said vocalist and guitarist Nick DiSalvo. “It’s maybe the least traditionally heavy track from the record, but it’s certainly dense. Lots of interlocking guitar and bass lines, keyboards, synthesizer solos (thanks to our friend Fabio Cuomo!) – you can hear that we had plenty of fun making this album. Like any Elder song, it’s best heard in contest, and we’re excited to release the full record soon!”

Omens was produced by Peter Deimel (Anna Calvi, The Kills, The Wedding Present), recorded at Studio Black Box in Noyant-La-Gravoyêre, France, and mixed by both Deimel and DiSalvo. Pre-order Omens here.
