Last Caress
Another "ultimate Misfits song"- catchy and poppy, yet dark and sinister at the same time. It doesn't matter where I am, when I hear that last line of "One last caress!!!" I have to fight extremely hard against the urge to air-microphone it in public. It also happens to be my least favorite of the Metallica covers. Taking a song like this and smuggling it into a full-blown, super-crisp distortion thrash metal sound is just kind of awkward. This is the case with many metal covers of punk-rock classics, though it hardly reaches the cringe-inducing awkwardness of Megadeth's cover of "Anarchy in the UK" (lol, Dave one upped once again).
