Necrophobic frontman Tobias SidegardThe worst thing that could happen to a band right before their album is released is the frontman being involved in a domestic abuse dispute. That’s exactly what happened to Necrophobic, as their frontman was eventually sent to jail on the charges and removed from the band.

Metallica Release 3D Movie, It Doesn’t Do So Well

Metallica Through the Never soundtrackThe biggest metal band in the world made the biggest gamble of their careers putting up millions of dollars of their own money to release a 3D movie. Unfortunately, due to poor scheduling the movie was pushed out of 3D IMAX theaters after one week to make way for the colossal blockbuster Gravity. In the end, the band did get huge publicity from the movie, and the true sign of it was a success or not will be dependent on how their next album is received.
