The kings of heavy metal returned with a huge promo blitz and for the first time ever, a number 1 album. The band has said they will most likely not be working on any new material, but you never know.
Protest The Hero Successfully Crowdfund Their Album, Enlist Lamb of God Drummer
Protest The Hero were without label at the beginning of the year, but that didn’t stop them from moving forward. They raised over $300,000 via Indiegogo and eventually enlisted Lamb of God drummer Chris Adler to perform on their record since their old drummer had to quit to focus on school.
Lemmy’s Health Problems
This might not be the best year for Lemmy, having to deal with hematoma, a pacemaker installation and other health problems resulting in the band having to cancel the majority of their remaining dates in 2013. Lemmy is taking care of himself and hopes to be back at full force in 2014.
