Everyone stop with the beat-down Pantera reunion questions. No one in Pantera wants to reunite without Dime, and everyone knows, if they did, the only suitable replacement would be close friend Zakk Wlyde. So why does everyone beat this question to a pulp? Local Dallas radio station 97.1 The Eagle interviewed Vinnie Paul, who who said the Black Label Society guitarist would be the one to step in for Dimebag, but "out of respect for [his] brother, [he] thinks we should leave the 14 amazing years Pantera had be."

“I spent two hours with Zakk, sitting down, a really great talk about… he calls (Dimebag) ‘the old man.’ I mean, him and my brother were so tight. If it ever were to happen, he would be the guy. But I honestly think, out of respect for my brother, I think we should just leave the 14 amazing years Pantera had be.

We’re all happy doing our own thing. We have to continue living and do other things. But like I said the 20th anniversary of “Vulgar Display Of Power” is coming — that was our best record ever.

There’s a song on there gonna be, actually there’s a new song that nobody’s ever heard, “Piss“. ‘You’re just piss in the wind.’ It’s totally Phil, it’s total his attitude, everything that Pantera was all about. I’m really proud of it. I’m really excited to see it…”

Well, no shit. But this is a good to promote the 20th anniversary edition of "Vulgar Display Of Power", which comes out May 15th. It'll feature the said unreleased track, "Piss", as well as a DVD of a 8 song performance from 1992 in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

If you're in the Southern California area on March 27th, you can hope to get picked to be in the official video for "Piss" by emailing [email protected] with a recent photo of yourself, name, phone number, address, email, and age (18+). If picked, you'll get notified of location details, but according to the Pantera website, it'll be somewhere around Los Angeles.
