If you were hoping for a Van Halen tour anytime soon, potentially bad news! Frontman David Lee Roth is now booked for dates in both January and March 2020 for a 26-date residency sat at the House of Blues at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
Oddly there's a large hole in those dates for the end-half of January and February, so who knows. Maybe there'll be some Van Halen shows in there to fill up his schedule, though recent comments about hating the Van Halens doesn't bode well.
Here's what Roth had to say.
"A weekend with me is interactive way beyond just music. It starts with the best food on earth. The fellas smoke their three cigarettes for the year and we all stay up way past our bedtime!"
Tickets are on sale starting September 14. The shows will take place on January 8, 10, and 11, as well as March 18, 20, 21, 25, 27, and 28. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
A few years ago, Roth seemed to insinuate a Van Halen reunion tour with Michael Anthony was in the works, with the band hoping to book Yankee Stadium, but those plans did not come to fruition.
