Tool guitarist Adam Jones is a noted pro wrestling fan. At WWE Summer Slam two years ago, he surprised audiences by playing the national anthem before the show began.
He was in attendance with his girlfriend at the WWE Royal Rumble PPV last night, and in a new video posted on WWE.com, he chose the tackiest way ever to propose to his girlfriend, via a message on the WWE titan tron.
Ok, if his girlfriend happens to share his passion for wrestling, then this is a cute and funny little moment. But if she doesn't, can you imagine her explaining this to her friends for the rest of her life?!? It was quite awkward, but I guess Adam Jones is an awkward dude.
Congrats to the happy couple.
We still have no word on a when a new TOOL record will come out, but there is some hope.
Speaking of the Royal Rumble, could it get any more anticlimatic than John Cena and The Rock winning their matches? Everybody saw this from a mile away. Still, it was great to see Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho back in the right (and away from a concert stage).
