GWAR are no stranger to A/V Club's cover series, previously covering Kansas' "Carry On Our Wayward Son," Billy Ocean's "Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car" and Cindy Lauper's ode to lady masturbation "She-Bop."
This time, though, the tables have been turned and Gwar is the band being covered. American folk artist Iron & Wine offered a very unique acoustic cover of the band's classic track "Sick of You." Even more interesting is Gwar was there to witness it and offer on the spot reactions. Iron & Wine completely made the song his own and it's almost unrecognizable from the original:
